Structural Repairs
Key Reasons for repairing cracked brickwork or stone:
Redistributes Loads: Cracks indicate that a wall has lost its load-bearing capacity due to movement. Helibars are bonded with resin and into horizontal mortar beds, creating tensile and flexural strength that redistributes loads away from the crack.
"Stitches" the Wall: The helical bars act as a reinforcement that reconnects the fractured masonry, effectively knitting the separated components back together.
Prevents Further Movement: By providing high tensile resistance, they prevent cracks from widening or recurring, and also prevent new cracks from forming in adjacent areas.
