Steelworks and stairwells:  We can provide shot blasting services to remove stubborn contaminants like rust, corrosion, old oil-based paints, and other tough industrial coatings from metals. The abrasive action smooths out unevenness and creates an ideal surface profile for new protective coatings to adhere to, which is crucial for preventing future corrosion.

Internal Brickwork & Fireplaces: Our blasting system can clean internal fireplace brickwork by using a gentle, low-pressure vortex of air, water, and fine granulates. Unlike harsh sandblasting, it is designed for delicate masonry and conservation projects, making it ideal for removing stubborn soot and carbon deposits from fireplace interiors without damaging the brick or mortar.

 

Wooden Beams and Carvings: A soft media can once again be used to strip away heavy stains and dark finishes, making rooms feel lighter and more modern. It also enables removal of staining within deep splits and intricate carvings that are impossible to reach with manual sanding. Dry blasting avoids saturating wood which prevents same day painting or revarnishing.​
